The Firmwide Economic Scenarios team within the Office of the Chief Financial Officer develops and distributes the macroeconomic scenarios that underpin the Firm's forecasting processes, including financial planning, stress testing and credit loss estimation.
Our scenarios span a range of economic backdrops, from baseline to severely adverse, and cover U.S. and global macroeconomic indicators, interest rates, equities, foreign exchange and credit markets, as well as real estate markets.
We work closely with the Economics and Strategy Research teams, Risk, Finance and other corporate functions, and our output is used by businesses across the Firm.
As an Analyst, you will play a supportive role in the team’s scenario design and forecast production. You will have the opportunity to directly execute forecasts for macroeconomic variables and interact with senior leaders and partner teams, and you will play an active part in improving the team’s tools and workflows. The role offers broad exposure across the Firm and a strong platform to build analytical and leadership skills.
