About the role

Be at the center of the work that keeps the Consumer & Community Banking Data and Analytics organization aligned and moving.

The Strategic Execution & Business Operations Team (SEBO) is Data & Analytics (D&A) chief-of-staff and operational enablement function — the "COO tower" for the approximately 2,000-person Data & Analytics organization. SEBO coordinates cross-functionally with strategy, finance, and communications teams to help realize the Chief Data & Analytics Officer’s vision. The team sits at the center of D&A's highest-visibility initiatives: book-of-work transparency, controls modernization, AI/agentic productivity measurement, and executive reporting, including Investor Day coordination.

As a Senior Associate on the Strategic Business Operations Execution Team, you will serve as a generalist contributor across the team's core workstreams, with particular emphasis on operating rhythms and chief-of-staff support for D&A leadership. You'll help run the cadence that keeps D&A aligned including leadership forums, business reviews, cross-D&A coordination. You’ll also flex into portfolio management, controls, and productivity-measurement work as priorities shift. This is a high-visibility seat for someone who wants broad exposure to how a large organization functions.

You'll need to be a creative thinker with superior judgment and executive presence, who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. You’ll help leaders turn strategy into action through crisp operating rhythms, clear communications, and disciplined follow-through. Your ability to navigate organizational complexities and create structure from ambiguity will be key to your success.

Job Responsibilities

  • Independently develop, own, and execute initiatives within the Data & Analytics organization from inception to completion
  • Apply structured problem-solving skills to convert leadership priorities into coordinated action by tracking dependencies, flagging blockers, and following up across stakeholder groups
  • Facilitate working groups and brainstorming sessions to support leadership decision-making
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation and drive implementation of changes
  • Collaborate with team members across LOBs, central teams, and corporate functions
  • Prepare executive communication materials and present project analyses to senior executives
  • Maintain a controls mindset to ensure compliance with approved risk and controls processes
  • Drive problem-solving and develop recommendations that advance key team priorities
  • Utilize organizational and planning expertise to prioritize tasks and resolve challenges
  • Understand the leader’s intent and take initiative in the absence of specific instructions

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience in business operations, chief-of-staff/program management, management consulting, or a similar cross-functional analytics or operations role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to synthesize complex, cross-team information into clear, leadership-ready materials
  • Strong organizational and project-coordination skills; comfortable running multiple workstreams with competing deadlines simultaneously
  • Consulting orientation with strong client engagement skills
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and influence business partners
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel, with comfort working with data in Monday.com, Tableau, or similar portfolio or BI tools
  • Creative problem-solver with the initiative to develop strategic solutions
  • Desire to challenge the status quo and drive change

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Exposure to AI/agentic tooling (e.g., GitHub Copilot, LLM-based analytics tools) and interest in productivity measurement
  • Experience in financial services or a large matrixed organization
  • Experience supporting executive-level reporting or offsite planning
  • Experience at a large consulting firm or in an internal corporate strategy function
