As a Database Administrator, a typical day involves designing, implementing, and maintaining robust database systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Problem resolution is a key focus, requiring proactive identification and troubleshooting of issues to maintain seamless database operations. Roles & Responsibilities

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
• Lead the development and enforcement of database policies and standards to ensure data integrity and security.
• Oversee performance tuning and optimization of database systems to enhance efficiency and scalability.
• Mentor junior team members by providing guidance and support to foster professional growth and skill development.

Professional & Technical Skills

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Apache Cassandra.
• Experience in database installation, configuration, and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of data backup, recovery, and disaster recovery techniques.
• Ability to monitor database performance and implement tuning strategies.
• Familiarity with scripting and automation to streamline database management tasks.
• Understanding of data security best practices and compliance requirements.

Additional Information

• The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in Apache Cassandra.
• This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
